Hello! My name is Kelsey Kees. I am 23 years and a graduate of Virginia Tech. When I was in college I had the opportunity to go to Nicaragua and I fell in loooove. I have been there 5 times and now work for an organization called House of Hope.

House of Hope in a Christian non-profit organization that works to get women out of prostitution based in Managua, Nicaragua.

Many women in Nicaragua are tricked into thinking that prostitution is the only way that they can provide for their families. House of Hope offers a way out.
Every week about 400 women come to House of Hope from all over Managua to be feed by the word of God and then to make jewelry and greeting cards. This income from the jewelry and cards has help almost 90% of the women get out of prostitution.
House of Hope also houses women and children. The girl's dorm houses little girls ages 6 - 16. These girls go to school, have chores and get to just be little girls.

I am so excited to be apart of this amazing organization! My job is to sell the women's products here in the US.
